David W Brunton

Managing Director

Joined Fulcrum in May 2005 as Construction Manager responsible for all projects. David was appointed Construction Director three months later. Due to a planned retirement by one of the main Directors David undertook a management buyout of the Company in December 2005.

David is a hands on MD driving the company forward whilst building on present business relationships and also targeting new clients and additional professionals to bring to the FCM team.

Cameron Tavendale

Contracts Manager

Cameron joined FCM in March 2007, and after a successful start has been appointed Contracts Manager.

Cameron's next project will be on behalf of Creek Properties Ltd at their site at Wellington Street in Wishaw.

Paul Deans

Assistant Quantity Surveyor

Joined FCM in August 2005. Paul is part-time at University doing a degree course in Quantity Surveying.

Due to his drive and commitment, Paul has been appointed the main surveyor for the Cambuslang Project. Paul is one for the future who Fulcrum are assisting with his learning & training.

Fiona McCartan

Commercial Administrator

Joined FCM in February 2005. Fiona is a key member of the commercial team assisting with all of the financial and commercial operations of the business.

Fiona is attending college on a part time basis to assist her development with surveying and accounting.

Lynne Houston

Receptionist/Administration

Joined FCM in October 2003. Lynn is one of the longest serving members of the FCM team (to date). Lynn’s cheery voice is the first you hear when contacting the office.

Lynn looks after the mail and drawings and drawing registers and works closely with the surveying team.

Kerry Gordon

Trainee Construction Manager

Joined FCM in June 2007. Kerry has just finished her first period of work experience with us, and has returned to college to start the second year of her Construction Management course.

FCM has agreed to Kerry returning each recess as she has shown an excellent aptitude for learning her "trade".

David D Brunton

Business Development Assistant

Assistant to the Managing Director with a brief to attract potential new clients and business opportunities. David excelled in organizing the development of the new company website and prospectus and was the main liaison for the web design team.

David has already become an important part of the FCM team since arriving between studying for Honors in Business Management at Queen Margaret University, Edinburgh.

Kevin Bunyan

Project Manager

Joined FCM in January 2004 after working laterally for Ballast and Interserve Project Services where he honed his skills on a number of prestigious projects.

Kevin is very professional in his dealings with the client and design team. Driving jobs forward successfully from initial inception to completion, Kevin has recently become a father with a beautiful daughter Eilidh. Kevin is presently busy working on behalf of NV Properties at their new development at 256 Cambuslang Road in Glasgow.

John Sutton

Project Manager

First involved with FCM through Contract Scotland, John has impressed with his in-depth knowledge and organisational skills that he is now employed by FCM.

John is currently seconded to Brandon Homes at Wishaw and will be the Project Manager on behalf of NV Properties at their Kensington Gate Lane site.

Robert Paterson

Assistant Site Manager

Joined FCM in February 2007 Robert previously worked in the shopfitting industry at AE McIntosh.

Robert has applied a very positive and professional attitude since joining the FCM team and has brought a great deal of knowledge and competence to the team.

Robert has also undertaken his site management and first aid training and gained certification in both disciplines. Robert is presently working under Kevin Bunyan on behalf of NV Properties at their new development at 256 Cambuslang Road in Glasgow.

Colin Cuthbertson

Assistant Site Manager

Joined FCM in April 2007 from Barratt Homes. Colin has worked as Camerons assistant on the Hot House project and has done remarkably well within his time with FCM.

Colin’s next project will be as Assistant Site Manager on behalf of Mathon Plc at their Kelvingrove Mansions development at Derby Street in Glasgow.

Graham Gow

Project Manager

Joined FCM in July 2007 after FCM were appointed to complete the Kelvingrove Mansions project by Mathon Plc.

Graham was employed by the previous contractor and was taken on by FCM due to his considerable knowledge of the contract works and also his pedigree of previous roles within the construction industry.
